TheBad Feministauthor and cultural critic chatted with PEOPLE tied to the launch ofNo Ordinary Love, a zine and online anthology of real people’s love stories created in partnership with dating app Hinge. As part of the project, Gay and other authors likeR.O. Kwon,John Paul Brammerand Isle McElroy interviewed real online daters to challenge the idea of “perfect fairytale beginnings” and “celebrate the beautiful imperfections of real relationships,” according to the project’s synopsis.

Roy Haynes, a prolific jazz drummer who had more than a seven-decade-long career, has died at the age of 99.
A representative for Haynes confirmed news of his death to PEOPLE.WRTIandThe New York Timesfirst reported that the drummer died on Tuesday, Nov. 12 in Nassau County, N.Y. after a brief illness.

King Charles’ wedding venue portfolio is apparently expanding as the monarch seeks to “increase revenue streams in Scotland.”
After recent news that the King, 76, plans to turn Balmoral into a wedding venue,The Telegraphreported that, in addition to that property in Scotland that wasQueen Elizabeth’s “happy place,” Charles wants to also build a new wedding venue at his Scottish home, Dumfries House.

The news comes after former PresidentDonald Trumpwon Arizona over Democratic Vice PresidentKamala Harris, flipping the state that had helped elect PresidentJoe Bidenin 2020.
With Gallego’s victory, Republicans will officially control 53 seats of the 100-member Senate in the 119th Congress.
Gallego, 44, held a steady lead in polling over Lake, 55, throughout the election, but Democrats were wary of feeling overconfident given the state’s firmly purple politics.

“I saw the trailer suddenly in class and had an anxiety attack," Shari wrote. She then claimed, “None of us were contacted about the movie. None of the proceeds are going to the kids,” referring to herself and her five siblings.
“This movie is trash, and only hurts my siblings more,” Shari continued, before she asked her followers, “Please do not support this movie.”
Lifetime did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.
