Tiny Cat Gets Their Head Stuck in a Huge Dumpster and Needs Heavy Machinery to Break Free

A kitten whose tiny head got stuck in a dumpster received broad support from the northern Colorado community in its effort to escape the smelly situation. The little cat got caught in a large dumpster in Fort Collins, Colo., on Friday, Nov. 15, while trying to exit head-first through a tiny hole near the bottom of the receptacle. The small mistake required a big solution — heavy machinery. “The strong material of the dumpster and tight fit required extremely precise use of powerful tools often used in vehicle extractions,” the PFA wroteon Facebookon Monday.

The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) revealed on Tuesday, Oct. 8, that a multi-organization effort to save the Wilkins’ Bunting birds from extinction has proven successful after the groups stopped an “invasive alien scale insect” from causing the ultimate demise of the birds.
