A British woman who murdered her parents and then lived with the bodies for four years while lying about their whereabouts has learned her fate.
Virginia McCullough, 36, was sentenced on Oct. 11 to life in prison for the 2019 killings of her parents, John and Lois McCullough, according to astatementfrom Essex Police. She’s expected to serve a minimum of 36 years before being eligible for parole.

Aformer executive assistantwho killed and dismembered his tech CEO boss in New York City after stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars from him has been sentenced for the murder, authorities said.
The Manhattan District Attorney’s Office said in apress releaseon Tuesday, Sept. 10, that Tyrese Haspil, 25, was sentenced to 40 years to life in state prison for the 2020 murder of 33-year-oldFahim Saleh.

During the balance beam final, the 27-year-old gymnast fell off the beam after one of her flips and ended up earning a 13.100, which put her at fifth place overall. HerTeam USAteammateSuni Leealso fell off the beam during her final performance and earned the same score, though ended up in sixth place behind Biles.
Italian gymnast Alice D’Amato won the gold medal for the event while Yaqin Zhou earned the silver for China and D’Amato’s teammate Manila Esposito took the bronze.
