Officials stated that Ryan, who traveled to Los Angeles to look for his daughter,died in a parking lotnear Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) on Sunday, Nov. 24, two weeks after Hannah went missing.
A spokesman previously told PEOPLE that law enforcement was called to the area for “an apparent suicide.”
Speaking with PEOPLE on Monday, Nov. 25, Hannah’s aunt and Ryan’s former sister-in-law said that the family believed he had a mental health emergency.

The cause of death has been revealed for a 19-year-old U.S. Air Force Academy (USAFA) cadet from Texas who was found unconscious in her dorm last month.
The bacteria “can cause serious disease or death in various clinical settings including airway infection,” per the coroner’s office.

Veronica Butler, 27, and Jilian Kelley, 39,were found deadon April 14 after being reported missing when their car was found abandoned beside a road in rural Oklahoma in March, PEOPLE previously reported.
The day before the bodies were found, theOklahoma Bureau of Investigation(OBSI) announced thearrest of four people: Tad Bert Cullum, 43, Tifany Machel Adams, 54, Cole Earl Twombly, 50, and Cora Twombly, 44.
Paul Grice, a fifth suspect, was arrested later that month.

An Illinois county coroner has determinedSydney Weston’s cause of death.
Weston, the 8-year-old Missouri girl who experienced a medical emergency while aboard a regional jet en route to a family vacation in Chicago in June, died of “complications of chronic primary adrenalitis in the setting of multiple infections, including Strep and Enterovirus,” Peoria County coroner Jamie Harwoodsaid in a press release.
Harwood said he reached the assessment “after consideration of the circumstances surrounding her death in correlation with a review of the medical records and after a complete autopsy with extensive ancillary studies.

The cause of death for the 57-year-old woman whose bodywas found in a baggage area at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airportlast week has reportedly been revealed.
The manner of death was hanging and asphyxiation.
On Aug. 8, Vinton was pronounced deceased at the scene at approximately 7:30 a.m. local time, the Chicago Police Department previously confirmed to PEOPLE.
She had been seen on video “entering an unoccupied restricted area at 2:27 a.
