Once units were en route, they were advised it could have been an explosion.
“The first units on the scene confirmed a large debris field throughout the neighborhood as well as heavy fire at the residence,” the release said.
According to the department, crews eventually extinguished the flames. However, authorities confirmed two deceased victims were found amongst the debris. “A third victim was able to make his way safely and was transported to University of Cincinnati Medical Center with burns,” the release said.

In a Facebook post,South County Firesaid that firefighters responded after a large tree fell on a homeless encampment off Alderwood Mall Parkway in Lynnwood during the evening of Tuesday, Nov. 19.
“Tragically, a woman in her 50s died,” said South County Fire. “No other injuries were reported.”
In an email to PEOPLE, a spokesperson for South County Fire said the fire service had no additional information to share about the incident or would identity of the victim.

Two people have died and one person has been hospitalized after a plane crashed into a Texas mobile home park in Odessa, Texas.
Officials in Odessashared on social mediathat on Tuesday, Aug. 20 at around 7 a.m., Odessa Fire Rescue responded to reports of an “aircraft incident,” and when they arrived on the scene found “heavy smoke and fire to a few mobile homes and some shop buildings.

On Sunday, Aug. 11, at 6:42 a.m. local time, the Harford County Fire Department and EMS were dispatched to investigate an apparent house gas leak in Bel Air. As firefighters arrived, Harford County 911 said it began receiving calls that the same house had exploded, according to areleasefrom the Maryland Office of the State Fire Marshal (OSFM).
After assessing the home explosion and the damage the blaze caused to surrounding properties, officials “received reports that a fatality had occurred,” which was discovered to be a 35-year-old contractor for Baltimore Gas & Electric.

The school day was disrupted at a Colorado Middle School earlier this week after two students ingested psilocybin mushrooms they allegedly bought from a local dealer who is now behind bars.
The two Fox Meadow middle schoolers were rushed to the hospital Tuesday, Sept. 24, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department.
Damian Lee Solano, 21, wasbookedinto El Paso County Jail and held on a $50,000 bond.
