Drew Barrymoreis opening up about her thoughts on letting her daughters have cellphones and sharing how her own upbringing has impacted her feelings.
On Friday, Aug. 30, the actress, 49, shared a lengthy post onInstagramtitled “Phone Home,” in which she discussed her childhood experience with “no guardrails” and how she’s providing more guidelines for her daughters Olive, 12, and Frankie, 10, whom she shares with ex Will Kopelman – especially when it comes to having a phone.

However, in the original ending, Barrymore reveals that the Red Sox were supposed to lose since they hadn’t won in real life in 86 years.

“Being a mom, businesswoman, and someone whose mind is constantly racing, it can feel not just challenging but impossible,” she tells PEOPLE. “I used to toss and turn throughout the night or stay up staring at the ceiling, unable to fall asleep.”
She adds, “More recently, I’ve become a bit of a hot sleeper (thanks, hormones), which really affects how well I sleep and whether I can make it throughout the night without waking up.
