After 34 years behind bars, the Menendez brothers, who fatally shot their parents Jose and Kitty Menendez at their Beverly Hills, Calif. home in 1989, might against all odds be coming home soon.

The family of a 10-year-old boy who died in a jet ski collision in July has filed a $10 million wrongful death lawsuit against the Middle Tennessee Council for the Boy Scouts of America, according to court documents.
Jack Gear, of Union City, Tenn., died on July 16 while at a summer camp at Boxwell Reservation as part of the Tennessee National Guard Youth Development Week,according to documents filed in the Circuit Court for the 20th Judicial District of Tennessee.

The family of a factory worker who died in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene has sued his employer and its CEO, alleging that the company did not allow employees to evacuate amid rising floodwaters, according to a lawsuit filed in a Tennessee state court, permultiplereports.

A Maine teenager has been missing for over a month now after she was last seen leaving home and walking into the woods, according to police.
Maine State Police say that all available resources have been utilized in order to find Stefanie, including collaborations with the Maine State Police Computer Crimes Unit and the FBI.
However, in an update on Oct. 23, police said that despite their “extensive” efforts, Stefanie remained missing.

A California barber has been accused of torturing and murdering a 6-year-old boy, with prosecutors alleging he beat the child with a piece of lumber.
The Orange County District Attorney’s Officeannouncedthe charges against Ernest Lamar Love on Wednesday, Sept. 4.
Love, 41, has been charged with one felony count of murder, one felony count of torture and one felony count of child abuse causing death, the district attorney’s office said in a news release.
