Penn State University Police are investigating the Nov. 2 incident involvingJason Kelceand an unidentified college football fan at the school, PEOPLE can confirm.
Penn State verified on Monday, Nov. 4 that University Police and Public Safety are looking into the moment when theformer NFL star, 36, smashed the phoneof a heckler who appeared to call Kelce’s brotherTravisa homophobic slur.
The university did not specify whether they were investigating Jason, the football fan or how the incident transpired.

A former police officer shot his teenaged daughters, killed his wife and then turned the gun on himself in a murder-suicide, police in Indianapolis say.
On Monday, Aug. 12, Indianapolis Metropolitan police officers responded to a call about a domestic violence incident with a weapon at around 9 p.m., after one of 43-year-old Thomas Joseph Nolan’s daughters dialed 911 to report a situation at their home on the city’s south side, local outletsFOX59and theIndy Starreported.

An Indiana Uber driver is accused of raping and murdering a mother of two who had requested a ride home from work.
Francisco Valadez was arrested on suspicion of murder after the dead body of Chanti Dixon, 30, was found on Monday, Sept. 9, the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said in a press release.
Police said Dixon was killed early on the morning of Sept. 8 and her body was found in a wooded area the next day.
