A Missouri man has been charged with the murder of a woman in Indianapolis more than 30 years after her body was found.
Van Huss was found dead with multiple stab wounds, the FBI said, and authorities suspected she knew her assailant. The FBI said she was believed to have been killed with a pocketknife and a screwdriver.

A man who was set to be arraigned on Wednesday, Sept. 25, allegedly threw a bag with explosives inside a California courthouse, authorities said.
During apress conference, Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office Undersheriff Craig Bonner said officers received a report of an “explosion” near the Santa Maria courthouse at around 8:48 a.m. local time.
“The initial report included that a single individual entered the facility and threw a bag at the screening station [and] that bag exploded,” he added.

The HPD said in the statement that George has been charged with murder and assault on a family member.
Police initially responded to the scene at 3 a.m. after a reported auto-pedestrian crash at an intersection near the nightclub address.
“An initial investigation, evidence from the scene, and witness statements determined a male suspect got into a physical altercation with a woman, 24, before attempting to intentionally strike her with his vehicle,” HPD’s statement read.

An Illinois man was arrested after allegedly punching an election judge after cutting the line at a polling place, authorities said.
Daniel Schmidt, 24, was charged with two counts of aggravated battery to a victim over 60, two counts of aggravated battery in a public place and five counts of resisting arrest and one misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct, the Orland Park Police Department said in apress releaseshared on Monday, Nov.

A New York man has been arrested in connection with the discovery of a woman’s remains found inside a suitcase near a Long Island apartment building in early September.
Suffolk County Police arrested Ronald Schroeder, 41, on Friday, Sep. 6, on a charge of concealing a corpse in connection with the remains found, police said in an updated statement.
