“I can’t draw a straight line with my mouth, so it was very frustrating,” the English painter, now 26, tells PEOPLE. “The control is a lot harder, but it does just take practice.”
Her mother and sister Olivia, a 24-year-old ceramicist, encouraged Emily to paint at their home in Hertfordshire, a county north of London. The family felt the process of making art would be good for Emily’s mind, but she became bored and discouraged when working on blank pages.

The crash occurred at the intersection of South Florida Avenue and Imperial Boulevard shortly before 11 p.m. local time, per officials. The girl, who was just “a few feet away” from her parents at the time, was not physically injured.
Despite receiving life-saving measures from first-responders, the couple was pronounced dead at the scene.

When Lyndsey Stamper and her son Hank went on college visits, she would always have him try out the beds to see if he would fit. However, Hank, who is 6'7" and 230 lbs., never did.
So, when the 18-year-old decided to commit to playing baseball at Fort Hays State University in Hays, Kansas, the family knew they needed to check how he’d fit into his bed there.

By the time the family arrived to Palomar Medical Center Escondido via ambulance, the two-year-old’s hand was swollen and purple. When attempts to deliver antivenom intravenously failed, Brigland was given the antivenom Anavip, administered directly into his blood marrow, as the swelling spread to his armpit.
