All About Kaley Cuoco and Tom Pelphrey’s Daughter, Matilda

TheFlight Attendantstar andOzarkactor celebrated the arrival of their first on March 30, 2023.

The couple — whopublicly confirmed their relationshipin May 2022 — announced her birth onInstagram, calling her the “new light of our lives” alongside a set of family photos.

Since then, the proud parents haven’t shied away from sharing sweet snaps of their little girl on social media, including Matilda twinning with Cuoco and cuddling up with Pelphrey.

The pair — who respectively got to celebratetheir first Mother’s DayandFather’s Dayin May and June — are relishing in their new roles as “mom and dad.”

Three weeks after Matilda’s birth, Pelphrey gushed about Cuoco’s natural parenting abilities, revealing that she’s flourishing as a first-time mom.

“She is so good at it,” he toldAccess Hollywood. “It’s like all the qualities that I love Kaley about times 100. She’s so funny andshe’s so nurturingand easy and playful and loving … It’s beautiful.”

She’s Kaley’s “mini me”

When talking to PEOPLE in January 2024, Cuoco said that her favorite thing about her daughter is that “she finds me hilarious.”

She’s a “daddy’s girl”

Cuoco posted a photo of Pelphrey and Matilda on her Instagram Story in August 2023 and captioned the adorable snap, “Daddy’s girl.”

This only became more true as Matilda got older, as Cuoco confirmed while speaking with PEOPLE in January 2024. “Whenever he walks in the room, she only wants to be with him. She is a total daddy’s girl," she said.

She looks “exactly” like Tom

When speaking with PEOPLE in May 2023, Cuoco noted that Pelphrey “just loves” Matilda and she resembles him as well.

“She looks exactly like him,” Cuoco said of Matilda’s features. “And he has a very distinct voice, so when he talks to her, she’s like 360. Her head turns around, and she’s like, ‘I know that voice.’ It’s very sweet.”

When asked to describe what has surprised her most about seeing her boyfriend in his new role as a father, Cuoco said, “I cannot believe how natural he is, how much he loves it.”

“I mean, when we were in the hospital, he did everything — every diaper, he’s the swaddle king,” she continued. “All the nurses said, ‘Oh my God, you’re the best guy swaddler we’ve ever seen.'”

On July 10, the actress reposted a similar photo that Pelphrey had shared on hisInstagram. In the snap, Cuoco kissed her then 3-month-old daughter’s cheek as Pelphrey smiled for the camera. In between the family of three, Cuoco’s dog nuzzled his way in.

She has her own pony

Matilda isn’t just a dog lover. In September 2024, Cuoco told PEOPLE that her daughter — who was 17 months old at the time — already has her own pony, and she is “so fearless” that she even rides it herself.

“We had a special saddle made for her, so it actually props her up,” Cuoco said. “And she just sits in that thing and walks around and it is crazy.”

She added that Matilda is still fully supervised during these rides, though. “We’re all there,” she said.
