Chris Prattis a superhero to the world but at home, he’s just dad.

They are now parents to two daughters and a son — Lyla Maria, born in August 2020, Eloise Christina, whom they welcomed in May 2022, andFord Fitzgerald, born in November 2024.

TheJurrasic Worldstar also has a 12-year-old son,Jack Pratt, whom he shares with his ex-wife,Anna Faris.

Lyla was born during the COVID-19 pandemic

Chris and Katherine welcomed their first daughter,Lyla Maria Schwarzenegger Pratt, on Aug. 6, 2020. Her middle name is a nod to Katherine’s mother,Maria Shriver.

In herannouncement postfor Lyla’s birth, Katherine wrote, “We couldn’t be happier and we feel extremely blessed!”

Soon after, a source told PEOPLE that the Pratts were “doing well” and that Lyla was “adorable.”

“She is obviously still tired, butshe loves being a mom. She is so positive and excited about the whole experience,” the source said of Katherine. “She loves seeing Chris with their girl. He is such a good dad. This was one of the things that Kat was attracted to from the beginning: Chris loves being a dad.”

OnLyla’s 2nd birthday, in August 2022, Katherine paid tribute to “the one who made me a mama,” saying her care for Lyla was “the deepest love I’ve ever known.”

A year later, for Lyla’s 3rd birthday, the authorshared two photosof herself and her older daughter in birthday hats. “I love her so! Happy birthday to my happiest joy of life,” she wrote in the caption.

Eloise was born in 2022

Chris and Katherine’s second daughter,Eloise Christina Schwarzenegger Pratt, was born on May 21, 2022. The couple shared inEloise’s birth announcementthat they felt “beyond blessed and grateful.”

Before they welcomed their second daughter, a source told PEOPLE in December 2021 that the Pratts were “ecstatic” about welcoming Eloise, as “they always hoped for Lyla to have another sibling.” The source added that Katherine “loves being a mom.”

“Lyla is her world. She has help, but is also very hands-on,” they said.

In April 2023, Chris gave PEOPLE an update on his daughters, saying Eloise was “just starting to pull herself up” and “loves my guitar,” while he described Lyla as “very, very sweet.”

Ford was born in 2024

Chris and Katherine’s third child and first son together,Ford Fitzgerald Schwarzenegger Pratt, was born on Nov. 8, 2024.

Chris and Katherine’s daughters are close with their older brother

Chris is a father of four — he shares his son Jack with his ex-wife, Faris.

Katherine told PEOPLE that the bond Jack has with Lyla and Eloise reminds her of the one she had with her brother, Christopher Schwarzenegger, who is eight years younger than her.

She said she was grateful for the time Jack spent with his little sisters. “Just to be able to see all the kids together is such a huge gift,” Katherine shared. “We’re really lucky that all the kids are awesome and get along so welland just love the heck out of each other.”

On Lyla’s second birthday in August 2022, Chris paid tribute to her role as an excellent sibling.

“You’re a great little sister to Jack. A great big sister to Eloise,” he wrote onInstagram. “And I don’t know why I’m writing this ‘to you’ because you’re not on Instagram obviously. But I do want the world to know!!”

Chris is a proud girl and boy dad

Chris has joked about the differences between raising Jack and his daughters, Lyla and Eloise.

In November 2022, heshared a silly selfieon Instagram in which he proudly accessorized his mustache with his daughters' pink flower barrettes.

“My girls assured me that this in style 🎀,” Chris captioned the post, adding the hashtags “#girldad,” “#alsoaboydad” and “#buthedoesntmakemedothis.”

In August of the same year, theParks and Recreationalumshared more selfies, dazzling fans with a foreheadstudded with colorful rhinestones. He once again joked in the caption, “All I have to say is… Jack would never do this to me.”

Chris has said he loved sharing his role inThe Super Mario Bros. Moviewith Jack. The actor told PEOPLE in April 2023 that his son was “thrilled” to see his dad bring the iconic video game character to the big screen, and he hoped his daughters would have the same reaction in the future.

“He took all his friends and he really freaked out,” Chris said. “My daughter’s a little too young to see it, but when they do see it, hopefully, they’ll think their dad is cool.”

Lyla and Eloise share a close bond

“The bedtime routine of reading stories with my parents is such a big part of what I do now with my own daughters,” she explained. “As I was doing this with my older daughter, Lyla, I wanted her to have a story that talked about sisterhood and the close bond, like what my sister and I had growing up and that we still have today.”

The sisterly bond is one Katherine is experiencing again through her daughters.

“I’m a year and a half older than Christina, so I don’t remember everything about when she came home from the hospital and our dynamic right away,” she said. “But my mom and dad say that it’s very similar to the dynamic between Lyla and Eloise.”

Katherine also acknowledged the girls' closeness in her first birthday tribute to Eloise, writing on Instagram that her younger daughter is “keeping up with her sister and having a blast.”

They have famous grandparents

Lyla and Eloise have two famous parentsanda famous set of grandparents: their maternal grandfather,Arnold Schwarzeneggerand maternal grandmother, Shriver.

The actor and former California governor opened up about what it was like to see his daughter grow into motherhood.

“It’s nice to see your kids having kids themselves and to watch this new dimension,” Arnold told PEOPLE at the 2023 premiere of his Netflix seriesFubar. “You see them growing up and you see them going to school and getting smart and getting their degrees, getting their jobs and all this, butnow seeing them be a parent? It’s fantastic.”

Just like Arnold, Shriver seems to have a strong relationship with her daughter and granddaughters.

During a January 2023 episode of theBest Friend Energypodcast, Katherine shared that her mom hosts a weekly mommy-and-me class for Lyla and her friends and has “so much fun with my daughters.”

“It’s kind of like I’m an outsider now. They are very cliquey,” the author teased. “They go upstairs, they go into my mom’s bathroom and to her vanity. Lyla will come out with a full face of makeup.”

Katherine has also said she wants to follow in her mom and dad’s footsteps when it comes to parenting.

”I want to be like how my parents always raised us, to work really hard and to be really good people and to leave the world a better place,” she toldThe New York Timesin February 2023.

Lyla is a doting big sister

Katherine has shared that the role of big sister came easily for Lyla.

The author said Lyla is the “sweetest and most gentle, excited older sister.”

“She loves [Eloise] and loves to spend time with her, and just to see their relationship forming already is really heartwarming and makes me really excited,” Katherine said.

Katherine loves being a matching mama.The Gift of Forgivenessauthor first posted atwinning outfit photo with her daughter Lylain February 2021, showing off their white-and-red heart pajamas and declaring she was “hooked” on matching.

One year later, the mom of two called August 2022 “a summer of feedings in terrycloth” in an Instagram post that showed her in a mint green terrycloth setas she held Eloise, who wore a white terrycloth onesie.

In December of the same year, Katherine shared a photo onInstagramwith both of her daughters, saying the three, all sporting cozy cream-colored looks, were “rocking our family coastal grandma looks!”

“Just trying to be a cool mom and dress kind of matching with my girls 😉,” she wrote.

In 2023, the multi-hyphenate added to her résumé, designing clothing with Cleobella that were named after her mom, sister and daughters. Katherineand her girls rockedthe brand’s summery frocks in August, and in November, the three worecheckered dressesand darkfloral pajamasfrom the line.

They love playing with animals

A perk of growing up with Arnold as their grandfather is getting to hang out with animals, including the barnyard variety.

“I just love when [Katherine] comes over to my house or when I go over there, but most of the time she comes to my house because I have all the animals,” theTerminatorstar told PEOPLE in 2023. “The grandchildren love the animals. I have a pig so now they want to come over there and feed the pig all the time, hang out with the little pig.”

Lyla and Eloise also adorethe miniature ponyArnold keeps in his backyard. In September 2022, Katherine even called Lyla her “little horse girl in training.”

“Visiting the horses and barn has been one of our favorite things to do together this summer. Seeing her get excited about being around horses brings me so much joy,” the proud mom wrote onInstagram.

In addition to the family’s many four-legged friends, the girls also love meeting new animal buddies in the wild. Katherine shared a series of photos onInstagramin November 2023 that included a picture of Lyla holding a small turtle and Eloise petting a much larger one. She wrote in the caption, “turns out Eloise is a huge fan of turtles.”

They always find a fun way to celebrate Mother’s Day

While talking to PEOPLE in May 2024, Katherine shared how Pratt and her daughters planned tospoil her on Mother’s Day.

The year prior, Pratt treated her to coffee in bed.

“[It] was very luxurious because I usually am the first one up in our household because I like to get up before everybody to give myself a moment before the kids all wake up,” Katherine shared.
