I have been crying more than I ever have, but am still optimistic for what is next.”

Throughout the years, the couple have shared her milestones and other sweet moments — frommeeting her icon, Blippi, to becoming a big sister. Nicknamed “Roo,” Drew is “definitely daddy’s girl through and through,” Shawn wrote onInstagramin 2020.

Another highlight was the full-circle moment when Shawn took her family to meet her longtime former gymnastics coach, Liang Chow, in 2022. During their visit, Drew showed signs that she might be into her mom’s sport and took a particular interest in the trampoline.

“The fun part, once she started warming up,she was just running, zig-zagging all over the gym,” Shawn said in a differentYouTube video. “She was like ‘Mama, beam.’ ‘Mama, bars.’ ‘Mama, trampoline.’ ‘Mama, vault.’ "

On July 19, 2021, Shawn and Andrew’s son Jett James East was born. “We are so happyto welcome our little man into the world,” they said in an exclusive statement to PEOPLE. “We are loving life as a family of four and soaking up every minute.”

These days, Jett is on the move — especially when it’s less than convenient for his parents. In October 2023, Andrewshared a videoshowing Jett escaping from his pack-and-play in the middle of the night. “He wasn’t even 2 when he did this. all hands on deck w this guy,” the former NFL star quipped in the Instagram caption.
