Barry Keoghan Debuts Shocking Bleach Blond Hair Transformation on the Set of 'Crime 101'

On Tuesday, Nov. 26, the Irish actor, 32, was spotted on the Los Angeles set of the upcoming thrillerCrime 101rocking bleach blond hair. It’s unclear if the look is a wig, but it’s certainly a drastic departure from Keoghan’s usual brown locks.

In one photo from set, theSaltburnactor adjusts his costume, which consists of a fitted white jacket with gold buttons and black trousers. He also holds a blue patterned scarf in his mouth, his shaggy blond locks on display.

Keoghan is also seen wearing a doorman-style hat and carrying a backpack.

Not much is currently known about the plot details ofCrime 101, but the Amazon MGM Studios' film is an adaptation of Don Winslow‘s short story of the same name. The Bart Layton-directed project also starsHalle Berry,Chris HemsworthandMark Ruffaloand is set to release in theaters in 2025.

PerDeadline, the original story “follows high-level jewel thefts taking place up and down the Pacific Coast that police have linked to Colombian cartels. Detective Lou Lubesnick has other ideas and he zeroes in on one perp, a thief looking for a final score.”

Keoghan recentlyshared how “proud” he isof the girlfriendSabrina Carpenter’s six Grammy nominations.

During an appearance on the Friday, Nov. 8 episode ofThe Jess Cagle Show, Keoghan said of the nods, “Brilliant, I know. Absolutely brilliant. Feckin’ brilliant, lads.”

“No, I’m really, really happy for her, honestly, and I got to get on the phone soon,” he continued on the SiriusXM show, before teasing the hosts for putting him “on the spot.”

Carpenter’s nominations included song of the year for “Please Please Please,”for which Keoghan starred in the music video.

Keoghan and Carpenter, 25, sparked romance rumors in late 2023. After confirming their relationship with a date night in February 2024, the duo appeared together at the Met Gala in May. While they didn’t walk the carpet together, theycozied up for some photos.

Keoghan opted for an olive velvet Burberry velvet jacket, waistcoat and trousers and a ruffled silk poplin shirt. He paired the look with a black wool top hat and leather Oxford boots.
