Blake Lively Shares ‘Snotty’ Photo of Herself on New Years in Cute Birthday Tribute to Friend Samantha Stone

Blake Livelyis grateful for her friend!

On Sunday, Nov. 24, the actress, 37, shared a light-hearted snap on her Instagram Stories to celebrate the birthday of her pal Samantha Stone.

In the throwback photo, Lively was captured blowing her nose on New Years as Stone smiled and raised one hand up in the air.

“Find you a girl who spends New Years with you while you’re snotty and have a cold but she won’t let you miss the fun so she brings it to you,” theGossip Girlalum wrote. “Always. Because that’s who she is. Fun. Kindness. Goodness.”

“@samanthastone I’m glad you were born. Some amount of years ago today. Happy Birthday,” she added about Stone, who is the Chief Membership Officer at Soho House.

Lively’s throwback post comes after she paid tribute to her friend, filmmakerBaz Luhrmann, 62, revealing that she still hashis poster from when she was a teenager.

Sharing a carousel of photos on Sunday, Nov. 3 from her time at the LACMA Art + Film Gala in Los Angeles, which honored Luhrmann and artist Simone Leigh, Lively wrote that she still had the poster of Luhrmann on her wall.

“@bazluhrmann was the first & only signed poster I was ever lucky enough to have on my wall when I was a teenager,” Lively’s caption read. “It’s still on my wall today. To know him will always be surreal.”

The carousel also featured snaps of the pair taking each other’s photos, turning their backs to the camera, as well as a selfie.
