Brantley Gilbert's Wife Gives Birth on Tour Bus Mid-Concert: 'Craziest Night of My Life'

Brantley Gilberthad “one hell of” a story when he welcomed his third child in the middle of one of his concerts in Mississippi.

The country rock singer, 39, revealed in anInstagram videothat his wife,Amber Cochran Gilbert, went into labor while he was mid-show at Cadence Bank Arena in Tupelo during his Off the Rails Tour.

He described what happened in his video, noting that he was pulled aside for an “emergency backstage” just after his set started. He could be seen running offstage and out of the concert venue.

A spokesperson for Brantley confirmed that he had gone to his wife, who “was in labor.” The pair went on to welcome their son, Abram Howell, on Friday, Oct. 11. After “briefly calling their families” to let them know the joyful news, Brantley continued the concert.

His mother then asked him how his wife was, and he told her that she was “a freaking savage.”

“I know she is. She’s amazing. She’s absolutely amazing.” He then told her that he would “go finish the show” and then FaceTime her after.

“So last night might have been the craziest night of my life,” he captioned the video. “Watching such an amazing woman do such an amazing thing is something I’ll never forget.”

“Thank you to our road family for rallying around us, Brittany Thornton for helping us bring this little dude into the world, Tupelo, Mississippi, for showing us mad love and support, and most of all… Amber Gilbert, for letting me love you and showing me EXACTLY how incredibly strong a woman can be,” he added. “I love you.”

He also reshared the video to hisInstagram Stories, writing, “We’ve got a new addition to the Gilbert family … God is good."

Gilbert later added more photos of his wife and newborn andannounced his name. “We will never forget the way you got here and we can’t wait to see what you do here. Abram Howell Gilbert 10.11.24”

The “Bottoms Up” singer and his wife previously announced in May that they would be welcoming their third child together in ajoint Instagram post.
