Brianna Chickenfry Breaks Down in Emotional Video as She Addresses Zach Bryan Split: 'This Is So Embarrassing'

Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPagliais sharing more details about her recent breakup with Zach Bryan.

On Oct. 22, the social media personality shared an emotional video on YouTube, a few hours afterBryan announced their separationon Instagram.

LaPaglia titled the clip, “Love you guys, I’ll be back soon,” and uploaded it to her Plan Bri UnCut account. For the entirety of the three-minute video, she spoke to the camera from the bathroom floor, a place she said “gives her comfort” at the start of the video.

“I just woke up to Zach posting on his Instagram that we broke up and I had no idea that post was going up. He didn’t text me, he didn’t call me. I just woke up to a bunch of texts, like, ‘Are you okay?’ LaPaglia explained.

“I’m at the point where it’s like, how can you give someone everything and love them so unconditionally, like through stuff that you shouldn’t because you just love them and you want them… like you see the good in them?” LaPaglia continued as tears rolled down her face.

“This is so embarrassing. I don’t give a f–k,” she added. “How can you give every ounce of yourself to someone and then be discarded of in a few days. It’s really, really heartbreaking.”

LaPaglia went on to explain that she didn’t want to talk about “details right now,” though confirmed that “she will, obviously” in time. At the moment though, she said that she “wanted to heal privately” but “had no idea that [Bryan] was going to post” about their split.

The content creator revealed that she and the country star broke up on Oct. 21 and she “wasn’t ready to [share] anything publicly.” She revealed that she’s now getting copious amounts of messages from people, though she intended on “handling this as a human, first.”

Towards the end of the video, LaPaglia asked her viewers to “respect” her privacy at this time. “When I’m ready to talk about everything that happened, I will, but right now I’m just completely blindsided.”

Despite her emotions, LaPaglia assured her listeners that she was “going to be fine” and thanked them for the kind messages. “I’m just really, really hurt right now,” she added. “I wanted to just be hurt for a week and lay in bed… I just didn’t want it to be public.”

Bryan first confirmed their breakup on social media on Oct. 22, shortly after LaPaglia posted a cryptic message on her Instagram the day prior.

“Addressing something: Brianna and me have broken up with [each other] and I respect and love her with every ounce of my heart. She has loved me unconditionally for a very long time and for that I’ll always thank her,” Bryan began the post.

“I have had an incredibly hard year personally and struggled through some pretty severe things. I thought it would be beneficial for both of us to go our different ways,” he continued. “I am not perfect and never will be. Please respect Brianna’s privacy and space in this and if you have it in your heart, mine too.”

The country singer concluded, “With everything I am and to anyone I let down, I am sorry. I try my best in everything. I failed people that love me and mostly myself.”

Shortly after Bryan’s post, LaPaglia announced on her own Instagram Stories thatshe’d be taking a break from social media, noting that she was “feeling really blindsided” and was going to “attempt to heal privately.”

Bryan and LaPaglia met for the first time at the Academy of Country Music Awards in May 2023. They made their romance public shortly after, confirmingthey were dating on her podcast,PlanBri Uncut.

The social media personality continued to open up about her relationship with the “Sun to Me” singer in the months that followed and they made their red carpet debut as a couple at the 2024 Grammy Awards. She also addressed the “hate” she’s received since making her romance public.

The pair celebrated theirone-year anniversaryon July 14, 2024. At the time, they each penned sweet notes on their respective Instagram accounts in honor of their special milestone.
