For one bride and groom, windy weather turned out to be the magical ingredient that created some truly unforgettable wedding photos.

A TikToker user named Tayla Gibb shareda clipon the platform offering a look at the blustery conditions she and her now-husband faced on the day they tied the knot at the historic Villa del Balbianello in Lake Como, Italy.

In the video — captioned, “When life gives you gale-force winds” — the newlyweds can be seen posing for photos outside as strong wind gusts wildly blow the bride’s hair and dress around. A trio of bridesmaids in the background also can be seen valiantly contending with the wind and trying to stay steady on their feet and keep the hems of their dresses from flying up.

Gibb wrote over her video, which has been viewed more than 11 million times, “When you were sad about the wind on your wedding day until you got your photos…”

Gibb toldNewsweekthat she and her husband didn’t find out about the possibility for unfavorable weather on their wedding day until the night before at their rehearsal dinner.

Not wanting anything to spoil their special day, the bride and groom made a pact with each other to enjoy their wedding experience no matter what came.

“From start to finish, unexpected turbulence and all, it was just the most incredible experience,” she added.
