According to the petition, Thibes also asked for primary legal and physical custody of their two kids, with visitation for Douglas. Additionally, she requested that Douglas pay all her legal fees.
Douglas' proposed parenting plan saw him and Thibes having joint physical and legal custody of Ryder and Lua, with visitation time allowed for both during their time with the other parent.
On Sunday, May 12, Douglas shared a photo of Thibes and the kids, seemingly on a hike, in celebration of Mother’s Day.
“Happy Mother’s Day @vivianethibes 🏆,” he captioned the shot.
In her ownInstagramMother’s Day post, Thibes shared a message in both English and Portuguese on Instagram, along with a photo where her two little ones hug her, facing away from the camera.
“Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms in the world, especially the single mom because you are superheroes. I have a lot of respect for mothers,” she wrote, adding, “The best part of being a mom is the love that we give and receive from our children. It’s a love so deep that is impossible to describe❤️🩹.”
