Carrie Underwood’s kids may not fully understand their mom’s job, but they’re cheering her on either way.

The “Before He Cheats” singer, 41, shares sons Isaiah, 9, and Jacob, 5, with her husband, Mike Fisher. In an interview withE! News, she revealed her son’s adorable reaction to mom’s return toAmerican Idolas a judge on the show’s 23rd season after taking home the grand prize in season 4.

Underwood told the outlet, “My son thinks I’m singing somewhere, so he’s like, ‘God please give her all the right words and help her sing great.’ " Fisher, 44, then had to correct his little one. “Mike was like, ‘She’s not singing,’ " the mom of two recalled.

“The don’t really know what I do,” she then admitted. “They do, but they don’t, which I kind of love. I’m mom to them.”

Underwood’s kids may not have seen her onAmerican Idolthe first time around, but they’regettting excited to watch her on television in 2025, when the singing competition returns to ABC.

In June, Underwood shared a few photos to herInstagramof herspecial day at the amusement parkwith Jacob. The little guy could be seen walking around the park and reaching for rubber ducks, wearing neon orange basketball shorts, a blue T-shirt, high socks and white sneakers.

“Took the little man to @sixflagsmagicmountain today for some Mom/Jake time! We rode rides, played games, got soaked, ate sooooo much ice cream and candy, bought random souvenirs and had the best day!” Underwood wrote in her caption.
