The CEO of a private equity firm in Colorado was arrested for allegedly strangling a teenager who splashed a woman with water at an In-N-Out restaurant.

Police said in their release that a 15-year-old male told them he and two friends were playing and splashing water on each other inside the restaurant on Fall River Drive. “During this interaction an adult female was [accidentally] splashed with water,” the LPD added.

According to police, the teen went to the woman’s table to apologize “when an adult male accompanying the woman suddenly grabbed him, placed both hands around the front and back of his neck, pulled him down to the table and threw him backward onto the floor.”

The male, later identified as Kalisher, and the woman left the scene before officers arrived.

The Larimer County District Office heard the case on Aug. 9 and on Tuesday, Aug. 13, issued a no bond warrant for Kalisher, the LPD states. He turned himself in to Larimer County Jail 10:33 p.m. that evening and was charged with Assault in the Second Degree-Strangulation and Child Abuse, a class 1 Misdemeanor.

“The Loveland Police Department is very appreciative of the assistance we received from the community during this investigation. This is a perfect illustration of our new Vision Statement: ONE Community, ONE Police Department, ONE Team,” Chief Tim Doran said, per the LPD’s release.
