TheSons of Anarchyactor, 44, was spotted stepping into the role of serial killer Ed Gein on the set of the third season ofRyan Murphy’sMonster.

PEOPLEreportedin September that thePacific Rimstar was set to play Gein in the upcoming season of the hit series.

Murphy announced the news atthe Los Angeles premiere ofMonsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Storythat month.

According toVariety, Gein — who was from Wisconsin — became popular in the 1950s after he was found to have killed multiple people and dug up graves near his home. He then used the corpses to make household items and clothing.

The sightingcomes following the success of season 2, which followed brothersLyle and Erik Menendez, who killed their parents José and Kitty Menéndez in 1989.
