Chrissy Teigen Shares Cute New Photo of Son Miles Wearing His Glucose Monitor After Type 1 Diabetes Diagnosis

Chrissy Teigenis sharing another family update on social media.

On Tuesday, Sept. 10, theCravingscookbook author, 38, posed with herson Miles, 6,in a sweetInstagramsnap afterrevealing his Type 1 diabetes diagnosisin July.

Among a carousel of photos, Miles' glucose monitor could be seen on his left arm as he cozied up to his mom for a cute selfie while the pair dined at a seafood eatery, wearing their shrimp bibs.

Other snaps and clips in the post included Teigen andJohn Legend’sdaughter Esti, 19 months, saying “I’m a cutie pie,” as well as an image of her eating spaghetti, and an adorable snap of her painting with her brotherWren, 14 months.

One shot showed thecouple’s eldest childLuna, 8, kissing Esti, among many more sweet images of the pair’s brood.

“busy 🐝🐝🐝s!!!! ready for fall weather, please lord!!,” Teigen wrote in the caption.

“After more testing, we learned he is in the ‘honeymoon period’ of a lifetime of T1. Last night we gave him his first shot of insulin and here we go! A different, new world for us and we are certainly learning so much on the fly,” Teigen’s post included at the time, noting that they’d been relying on the bookYear One with Type Oneto help Miles with his diagnosis.

After the family revealed the diagnosis, Teigen’s husband Legendrecalled to PEOPLEhow Miles had ended up at the emergency room with an illness he’d caught at summer camp. Doctors ended up realizing he had Type 1 diabetes after they checked his blood sugar.

“This speaks to us feeling like a team,” he said of Teigen, adding, “And knowing we can do this together. It just makes us stronger.”
