Christian Slater and Wife Brittany Welcome Baby No. 2, a Boy

PEOPLE can confirm that the actor and his wife’s new addition, a son, was born in July.

The couple is already parents to a 4-year-old daughter, whom they welcomed in 2019. Slater is also dad to daughter Eliana, 22, and son Jaden, 25, whom he shares with ex-wife Ryan Haddon.

The parents first announced they were expecting a second child when they walked the red carpet together while attending the Los Angeles premiere of the actor’s filmUnfrostedearlier this year.

On his wife’s right, Slater wore slacks and a jacket, smiling as he tucked his hands into his pockets.

At the fourth and final season premiere ofMr. Robot inOctober 2019, Slater opened up to PEOPLE aboutwelcoming his first daughter with Brittany.

“It’s cleaning those bottles — there’s so many pieces to break down with that stuff, it’s a milestone to get through it,” he said at the premiere in New York City.

“An official milestone is that she’s actually starting to really acknowledge us and smile, which is a big deal,” Slater added.

“Before, it would just be this involuntary thing,” he continued. “Now, she sees and smiles, and that’s a beautiful milestone.”
