College Student Accidentally Delivers Shein Package to Dad's House, Dad Sends Her a Detailed Try-On Haul Video (Exclusive)

On Tuesday, Sept. 17,Mia Doughertysat down to order some new clothes from Shein: a pair of boots, a skirt, a pink dress for an upcoming event and some pink jewelry to match.

However, as soon as the 20-year-old nursing student from Pittsburgh pressed “pay,” she realized she had entered the wrong shipping address. Instead of having the items sent to her new school location, they were going to her dad David’s house. She quickly tried to change the order, hoping the pink dress would arrive in time, but was unable to make any adjustments.

Mia texted her dad to explain the situation: “Hey, expect a Shein package — I accidentally sent it to your house.” Since she wanted to see the pink dress before the event, she asked her dad to send her a video of her order.

When the package arrived at her dad’s house, Mia woke up from a nap to find a video in a Snapchat group chat with him and her stepmom. To her surprise, her dad had done an entire haul of her order, even trying on a pair of black boots.

“He said this is OUR shein haul 😭,” one comment reads.

“It’s the ‘Even smells like fake leather’ for me,” someone else says.

“Dad def needs to do more hauls he sold me on everything 😂,” another person chimes in.

“I was shocked about it going viral for sure! He is always outgoing and funny, so I’m glad people are enjoying his humor as much as my family does,” Mia tells PEOPLE exclusively.

Mia mentioned that when she started noticing the video getting likes, she told her dad about it, and he was happy she posted it. “The first time I saw him since the video, he said, ‘You’re going to have to speak to my assistant.’ Then he joked, ‘I found out a new phrase.’ I asked, ‘What?’ He replied, ‘Beekeeping age.'”
