Daniel Radcliffe and Partner Erin Darke Celebrate Premiere of Her New Off-Broadway Play

Daniel Radcliffeand his longtime partnerErin Darkeare stepping out in celebration of Darke’s new play!

On Tuesday, Oct. 15, Radcliffe, 35, and Darke, 40, were seen at an afterparty for Darke’s new off-Broadway production of the playVladimirat the Manhattan Theatre Club in New York City. The couple were spotted with their arms around each other as they posed for photos at the afterparty.

The play follows a journalist in Moscow coveringVladimir Putin’s first term as the country’s president. Finding “herself on the brink of an explosive story,” she begins to question whether following through with her reporting is worth risking harm to her and her sources, per anofficial synopsisfor the production.

Darke andHarry Potteralum Radcliffe first met on the set of the 2013 movieKill Your Darlings, where the two played lovers onscreen and found a genuine connection while acting together. “It’ll be a hell of a story to tell our kids one day because of what our characters do with each other,” Radcliffetold PEOPLEof initially working with Darke in 2019, referencing a love scene the two filmed for that movie. “Our characters are meeting and flirting with each other, so there is this kind of sweet record of us just meeting for the first time and flirting.”

“He’s talking and saying, you know, nonsense, butvery, very charming nonsense," Radcliffe said at the time.

Back in June, Radcliffe shouted out Darke and their son as he accepted his first-everTony Awardfor his performance inMerrily We Roll AlongonBroadwayat the 2024 Tony Awards. Darke could be seen tearing up during Radcliffe’s speech.

“My mum and dad are here somewhere — happy Father’s Day, dad, I love you both so much. Thank you for playing Sondheim in the car and just, you know, loving me,” he said at the time as he wrapped his speech. “And my love Erin —you and our son are the best thing that has ever happened to me. I love you so much, thank you so much. Thank you everybody.”
