During an appearance on the Friday, Sept. 20 episode ofThe Jennifer Hudson Show, the actress, 61, spoke about her daughterRumer Willis' little one,Louetta, 17 months, calling the toddler “magical” asHudsonshared a photo on screen.
“The great thing is I look at her and I realize that through how I choose to live, how my daughter and her sisters all choose to live, that we actually have a chance to break certain generational patterns. I can already see it within her,“The Substanceactress said of how Louetta has influenced her life.
“Talk about choosing joy… she is a pocket of joy,” Moore added of the toddler, who Willis shares with herex-boyfriend Derek Richard Thomas.
Moore shares herthree daughters— Rumer,Scout, 33, andTallulah, 30 — with ex-husbandBruce Willis, 69.
As Hudson probed Moore for advice, beinga mom herself, she replied, “Recognizing that we are just the managers, we don’t own. We just need to step back… for me I feel like my job is just to love my children and to give them the room to be who they are.”

“Rescuing our children, which is our intuitive instinct, isn’t always the best thing. You have to give them the room,” Moore said.
The actress told hostsHoda KotbandSavannah Guthrie, “I love it. I am ‘Yaya.’ And she is the cutest. Rumer just sent me a photo of her with spaghetti on her head.” Yaya means grandmother in Greek.

Willis, who celebratedLouetta’s first birthdayon April 18, has spoken openly about parenthood,telling PEOPLEin late March that “it was never a question” for her as to whether she wanted kids.
“I always knew,” she insisted, calling motherhood her “favorite thing ever” and saying welcoming little Lou “was one of the most validating experiences of my life.”

She then posted an adorable message to Louetta for hermilestone first birthdayonInstagramthe following month.
“This last year with you has been the best year of my life. Lou I have never known a love like yours. You are the most delicious, most beautiful, smartest, funniest, sweetest girl I know,” Willis wrote in the caption.
“I can’t believe you chose me to be your mama oh my goodness. Every day you grow and learn more and you are my greatest teacher and my deepest love,” the message included. “You are a gift to everyone you meet and your smile is almost blinding it’s so magical.”
