“Petey’s latest plan is to clone himself, creating the kitten Lil Petey, to double his ability to do crime stuff,” teases the synopsis. “Things get complicated, though, when Lil Petey forges an unexpected bond with Dog Man.”
The new film comes after Pilkey’s other books were adapted for the big screen with 2017’sCaptain Underpants: The First Epic Movie. That starred Kevin Hart, Thomas Middleditch and Ed Helms. The nextDog Manbook, Dog Man: Big Jim Begins, is out Dec. 3.
