Donna Kelce Has the Sweetest Response After a Fan Confuses Her for Taylor Swift’s Mom Andrea

Donna Kelceis sharing the love — even if she’s getting mistaken forTaylor Swift’s mom,Andrea.

Donna, the mother to NFL star — and Swift’s boyfriend —Travis Kelce, was recently confused for the singer’s mom Andrea in a post on social media.

One of Swift’s fan accountsshareda photo on X (formerly known as Twitter) of Andrea arriving at Arrowhead Stadium sporting a pin that said, “In my 87 era,” referencing Kelce’s jersey number for the Kansas City Chiefs.

Actor Mark Hamillrepliedto the account’s photo, writing, “#ILoveTaylorSwiftsMom.”

Another usersharedtheStar Warsactor’s post, adding the hashtag “#DonnaKelce” and tagging Donna’s X account, as well as Swift’s and Hamill’s. The user added, “This is the sweetest thing I’ve read all day,” of Hamill’s support for the Swift and Kelce romance.

Despite the fan confusing her for Swift’s mom, Donna seemingly didn’t mind the mixup and replied to the supportive post writing, “Love you too!”

The fan who confused the two famous moms replied to Donna’s sweet comment and apologized for the mistake. “Mrs Kelce I’m sorry I got you in the middle of this twisted narrative,” the accountrepliedon X.

“I actually did make a mistake and said so right away but …. Twitter did what twitter does. I appreciate this gracious post and btw I love you too. Best mom living her best life.”

Andrea and Donna delighted fans whenthey were seen huggingin the Kelce family suite at Arrowhead Stadium on Sept. 15 as Swift and her mother joined the tight end’s family to cheer on the Chiefs in their victory over the Cincinnati Bengals.

In a videoshared on X, Donna was filmed receiving a hug from Andrea. Fans in the stands could be heard screaming with excitement when the ladies greeted one another.

“I hope so, I hope so. I would like to,” Donna said when asked if she’ll attend a show, adding, “It’s spectacular.”

Donna has yet to attend the record-breaking tour so far, but she told PEOPLE in November 2023 that she had seen thebox office-topping concert filmTaylor Swift: The Eras Tourand “wasjust totally enthralled"with Swift’s “presence to be able to connect with people.”
