Finding a similar style that wasn’t $495 (the price of Barrymore’s) proved to be more difficult than I expected. Which, upon reflection, makes zero sense since they’re honestly the perfect fall top. Polo shirts are like half-sweater and half-shirt, which equals warmth without the itchiness. Also, Rihanna and Hailey Bieberhave both wornthe fit-for-fall style.

While this one is over $100, it’s the closest iteration I found: The colors are the same and the pattern is practically identical. It also isn’t cropped (thoughthis oneis if that’s what you fancy), so it’s going to have that off-duty look, too.

For years, I haven’t had much luck with jeans. Skinny jeans were too tight for comfort, bootcut pairs felt too old school, and wide-leg pairs didn’t do much for my shape. But straight-leg pairs, which is what I think Barrymore’s are, changed everything for me.

Because straight-leg jeans are looser all around, I don’t feel like I’m walking around in a heavier, less comfortable version of leggings. This pair on Amazon has a steep price cut right now and “actually sits on your waist and fits like a dream,”according to one shopper. They also are long enough that they won’t be dragging on the ground, but they will keep my ankles warm.
