Emma Hernan Claims HerSelling SunsetDating Scenes Were Cut, Says There's 'Zero Truth' to Rumors She Dated Married Man

Emma Hernansays she’s undecided if she’ll return toSelling Sunsetgiven the way her relationships were portrayed — and not portrayed — on the Netflix show.

The real estate agent spoke withVulturein an interview published on Friday, Sept. 13, saying she felt “blindsided” over her season 8 storylines on the hit reality television series.

“I filmed this season with the person that I was actually seeing at that time,” Hernan said, adding that she “was hesitant” to open up about her private life, but ultimately decided to do so.

“I don’t know why that didn’t make the show, but I filmed numerous scenes with the person I was seeing,” she continued. “I was vulnerable. That wasn’t easy for me, but I still did it because I thought that it would be good for the audience to see what I’m up to and who’s trying to date me and my back-and-forth thought process behind it.”

Hernan added that the infamous bite mark came “from the person that I was seeing," though it came off a bit unclear during the series.

“I didn’t really understand it, and I don’t know the thought process behind the producers who made that decision,” she said. “I guess it was a better story line to not tell me what was going on behind my back, and that’s why that happened.”

“I mean, Nicole is a sick individual,” Hernan said, adding that “there’s zero truth to that rumor.”

Herman explained the man was a client that she interacted with back in 2021, and that “nothing happened” between them.

Hernan added that she was very clear about her boundaries with the individual: “This wasn’t even a gray area.”

“I know there might’ve been a crush there, but there was nothing, not one single thing that transpired. That’s why it was so disheartening to see what Nicole said,” she continued.

Hernan said she has “mixed emotions” about returning to the series, but would have possibly been open to doing a reunion before the cancellation was announced because “I wasn’t given the opportunity to clear up my situation.”
