A bride wasn’t going to let her wedding get in the way of watching her favorite team!While celebrating her big day atReber’s Riversideon Nov. 16, Kennedie (nÊe Lewis) Savage was looking forward to exchanging “I dos” with Beckett Savage â but she was also just as excited to watch the Oregon Ducks compete against the Wisconsin Badgers.But because her barn wedding venue only had dark wooden walls, Kennedie had to get creative to properly display the game during her reception.Videographer and photographer Tyler Kinert ofLost in the Trees Mediacaptured the unique way the bride and her wedding guests caught the football game.“When you are getting married, but your team is playing. You improvise. đ¤Ŗ She wasn’t about to miss the game,” Kinert captioned a video on TikTok showing the Wisconsin game being projected onto Kennedie’s wedding dress.Still wearing her veil, the Oregon-based bride smiled as she held the skirt of her wedding dress wide with both hands.“O-F-F-E-N-S-E! Offense!” she shouted in the video as the first quarter of the game played on her white gown.“The bride and her family are huge Oregon Ducks fans,” Kinert tells PEOPLE. “Their wedding day fell right on game day, and the bride really wanted to watch the game, but we have only wooden, barn walls to display the game on. So she got up and said, ‘Here, I’ll be the screen,’ and we projected the game off her dress until we figured out a better way to display it for her.“He continued: “Guests all loved this moment. Everyone was gathering around the bride laughing, taking photos and enjoying this moment. I feel like their whole family was Oregon Ducks fans, so everyone was cheering and loving this moment. And what a unique and fun way to display a game.“Eventually, the football game was played on the barn wall. The entire game was watched during the reception.
