Adam J. Harrington’s final episode ofGeneral Hospitalended with a bang.

“Well @GeneralHospital it was a BLAST, literally!” Harrington tweeted. “To @valentinifrank, producers and writers. Thank you for the SHOT at joining your world. I loved it.”

“To the phenomenal cast and crew. It was a honor to witness the CALIBER of your work,” he continued. “Now, seriously, I will miss you all.”

Harrington followed up with another tweet thankingGeneral Hospital’sfans.

The actor first hintedGeneral Hospital’s Aug. 30 episode would be his last the same afternoon the episode aired, tweeting out a short message — “Good night all…..”— along with an image of a sunset.
