“Was so fun to play Monica Vitti for the lens of my dear friend Steven Meisel for the special @stefanopilati collection for @zara 📸,” Bündchen captioned anInstagram postfeaturing snaps from the shoot.

In the images, Bündchen could be seen posing alongside Italian fashion designerStefano Pilatias she wore a few standout pieces from his debut eponymous collection with Zara. Those looks included afaux fur coat,long polka dot vest, a striped frill front shirt and more.

To tie it all in, Bündchen opted for some bob action — a look that contrasted her standardlonger blonde waveswhile paying tribute to the late Vitti, who died at age 90 in 2022.

PerVoguein 2014, Vitti’s “bouncy blonde bob” has continued to be praised since she gained notoriety for her work in Michelangelo Antonioni’s 1960 filmL’Avventura.Dario Franceschini, Italy’s Minister of Culture, confirmed Vitti’s death in a statement two years ago, calling her “the queen of Italian cinema.” Her most notable works include Antonioni’sL’Avventura(1960),La Notte(1961) andL’Eclisse(1962).

Its was a busy summer for Bündchen, who celebrated her44th birthdayin July, took a “dream” trip to Lençóis Maranhenses National Parkin Brazil not long after and got some attention for herslightly cropped jeansand a fashionable handwoventote bagas she transitions her style to suit the fall.

Back in August, she paid tribute to Brady’s oldest sonJohn “Jack” Edward Thomas, whom he shares with exBridget Moynahan, as she celebrated his 17th birthday on Instagram. At the time, she shared a throwback image of Jack as a little boy, before posting an updated snap of the two on her Instagram Stories.
