Hope and Bo Actors Kristian Alfonso and Peter Reckell to Reunite on Upcoming Season ofDays of Our Lives

Hope BradyandBo Brady’s iconic love story will see a new day.

Kristian AlfonsoandPeter Reckell, who last appeared on screen together in April 2023, have reunited to introduce a new chapter in the romance of their iconicDays of Our Livescharacters.

Alfonso, 61, confirmed that the two are back on the set of the long-running daytime soap in an Instagram Stories post on Thursday, Sept. 12, writing, “Back in the Brady Pub hope you can join us 💃😘 @dayspeacock.”

The post showed the actress holding on to Reckell’s arm as he beamed from ear to ear and smiled at her.

Reckell shared similar sentiments to the outlet, which reported that their storyline would air in May 2025.

“Just like riding a bike. And thank goodness they [keep one ready] for me in Salem. This ride is one we know the fans are really going to love. Stay tuned,” he said.

The news comes after Michael Sluchan, EVP of Current Scripted Programming and Limited Series for NBC and Peacock, toldSoapHubin February that the show’s 60th anniversary would have “exciting stories.”

“There’s both forward-thinking, and [our anniversary] will also harken back to classicDays, as well,” he said at the time.

Bo and Hope’s love story began in 1983. Alfonso left her characterbehind in July 2020, but she soon returned as Hope inDays of Our Lives: Beyond Salemin 2022. In April, she filmed a brief return toDaysfor a tribute to the lateBill Hayes, which will air in November. Reckell leftDaysfull-time in 2012, but has occasionally returned and appeared inBeyond Salem.
