Earlier this month, Grant joinedThe Kelly Clarkson Show, where heopened up about raising his five kids. “Are you like a jungle gym dad?” host Clarkson asked, explaining the term as when your kids “crawl all over you.”
Grant smiled before sharing, “Oh I love a bit of that.”
“I mean there’s a lot to dread because I’m old and it’s noisy and it’s unbearable and I do a bit of hiding in the loo,” he joked.
The proud dad then teared up as he shared, “I mean, I’m going home tonight and, let’s face it, the bit where they jump in your arms — my 6-year-old calls it her ‘chimpanzee hug.’ I quite like that.”

TheNotting Hillstar appeared on theJimmy Kimmel Liveshow in October and discussedhow he named his younger two daughters.Grant, who had previously not shared their names, explained that he was in a bit of a “panic” when trying to name his kids.
“I have a daughter who I named… I was in a bit of a panic with my wife on the day we named her and we thought it might be nice for her when she was older if she could say in bars that her middle name was Danger," Grant said. “So her name is Lulu Danger Grant.”
As for his 8-year-old, Grant explained that she’s “named Blue because again I panicked about names with my wife so we asked [Lulu’s] elder brother when she was on the way.”
