After his come-from-behind victory, the former University of Arkansas star, 25, ran to the stands to hug Tara, echoingtheir viral embrace following her Olympic win.
“I’m so proud of you,” Tara, 25, could be heard saying to her husband.
After letting Tara go, he then let out an enthusiastic “Yeah!” to other family members as he celebrated.
On their joint Instagram account, Tara posted a video of the race, and wrote alongside: “HUNTER WOODHALL IS A PARALYMPIC GOLD MEDALIST. HIS MOMENT AND HE TOOK IT.”

Moments after crossing the finish line first, Woodhall ripped the paper bearing his name off of his jersey with glee, and held it up to the cameras. On the back was the name of his late uncle, Wyatt Woodhall, with the words, “This one is for you.”

“He’s my biggest supporter, and I guess the whole world got to see how much he supports me,” she said.
The day after his wife won gold, he shared a sweet post on Instagram celebrating her achievement.
“No words to describe how proud of you I am. No luck involved, you earned this. Discipline, work ethic, and grit. These are the moments and this is your moment. Soak it in ❤️,” he captioned a photo of the couple posing in front of the Eiffel Tower.
