I’m Having a Spanx Girl Summer: Here Are the Pieces I’m Carrying Through to Fall

I’m not exactly living a Brat girl summer. More like atired-mom-chasing-around-two-toddlers-with-a-bottle-of-sunscreengirl summer. But I did give my wardrobe an overhaul thanks toSpanx. Yes, you read that right,Spanx. And I’m not talking about the shapewear (which I’ve been wearing for years). I’m talking about everyday outfits. I learned one thing very quickly: If you’ve been sleeping onSpanx extensive clothing collection, it’s time to wake up.

The MVP of my Spanx haul:these cropped wide leg jeanswhich I got in an ecru wash. Spanx denim features a four-way stretch fabric and built-in waistband that helps give support and define your curves, and the flare made my legs look long. My biggest concern before trying these on was that the no-zipper and pull-on silhouette would veer into jeggings territory (IYKYK), but the jeans held a nice structure as soon as soon as I slipped them on and didn’t stretch out. The off-white hue is also a perfect shade to carry into fall (yes, you can wear white jeans past Labor Day!),

I also loved how the jeans worked so well with most tops in my closet - ranging from a knit sweater, to a simple black T and a cropped jacket. (I liked them so much, I even made a TikTok -don’t judge my transitions.)

Spanx also offers a variety of workwear staples and suiting options that can be worn in the office and or mixed-and-matched for various events. After seeing suit vests trending all over my FYP, I was excited to try theSpanx take on the tailored classic, which is also a huge transitional wardrobe piece right now.

The piece looks polished but is really so effortless, and I was pleased at how versatile it is; I paired it with everything from the brand’s matching trouser short to jeans. It’s now at the top of my rotation for days when I know I have an event after work.
