Influencer Caitlin Covington Kicks Off 'Christian Girl Autumn' withTwilight-Themed Clip

Caitlin Covington’s favorite season has arrived!

The lifestyle blogger, whofirst went viral in 2019alongside fellow bloggerEmily Gemmafor their fall aesthetic coined “Christian Girl Autumn,” shared her excitement for pumpkin spice season and sweater weather in an Instagram video on Sunday, Sept. 1.

In the video, Covington lies down on her bed with her eyes closed, dressed in jeans and a sweater, holding a pumpkin in her arms. As the video progresses, images of leaves falling and changing colors appear, prompting Covington to open her eyes in delight.

“The Queen of all things Fall has spoken 👑🍂🤎✨,” Amazon Home commented on her video. “The queen has defrosted. This is not a drill 🍂🍁🤎,” someone else wrote.Other users were quick to notice a parallel between Covington’s video and a well-known movie. “Only real#twilightfans know 🤎🍁🍂,” one person replied, referencing the ending scene ofBreaking Dawn – Part 1where Bella opens her eyes.

At the end of August, Covington took to Instagram to share her excitement for another key aspect of the fall season: the return of Starbucks pumpkin drinks.In the video,the mom of two answers a phone call from a pumpkin and then captures herself enjoying a Starbucks drink.

“[hangs up phone]… the Queen is coming. 😍🧡🍂,” Starbucks commented. “It’s TIMMME (that Mariah Carey gif of Christmas, but you and for fall),” someone else wrote.

Along with posting about fall, she also runs a blog,Southern Curls and Pearls, which she began in 2011, while she was an undergraduate at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Leading up to September, the influencer shared another video featuring clips from past falls, including her frolicking in leaves, at a pumpkin patch and eating apple cider donuts. Thevideo’scaption also hinted that the mom has already booked her annual fall trip to take photos, which she told theNew York Timesin October 2022 happens every year.

In the fall of 2022, Covington told the outlet that she traveled with her daughter, her assistant, her daughter’s nanny and her brother for the trip to Vermont. At the time of the trip, the influencer was also six months pregnant.

“Before we come, I try on all the outfits. I have Kennedy’s outfits planned out and mine,” she told the publication about prepping for the trip. “We have specific places that we plan to go. Like, I have the pumpkin patch and the address and then I have the apple cider spot and the address of that, and it’s all in this big document. So when we get there, we can be like, ‘OK, this outfit will look great in this location. Let’s shoot it here.’”
