Isabella Strahan Celebrates 20th Birthday, Reflects on One Year Since Brain Cancer Diagnosis

Isabella Strahanis celebrating her 20th birthday and reflecting on how much her life has changed in the past year.

On October 28,Michael Strahan’s twin daughters Isabella and Sophia celebrated their birthday with a trip to Disneyland. The proud dad andGood Morning Americaco-host posted photos from the vacation onInstagramand shared a sweet tribute to them.

Isabella also documented the trip with her family and friends, posting avideofrom the trip on TikTok and pairing it with Sexyy Red’s song “It’s My Birthday.” She also reflected on how different her birthday looks this year compared to last year when she was just diagnosed with brain cancer.

In October 2023, Isabella was hospitalized and underwent an emergency surgery to remove a large medulloblastoma —a type of malignant tumor— in her cerebellum. She spent her 19th birthday unconscious after surgery as her friends and family decorated her hospital room with balloons, flowers and birthday signs.

The model shared photos on her Instagram Stories from the moment, writing, “365 days since my life changed tremendously. Thankful for the progress I’ve made🩶”

“After the wildest 8 months, I finally got to ring the bell. Grateful for my journey 🩶” she wrote.

Strahan also praised his daughter for making it through a difficult health journey.

“@isabellastrahanyou are a SUPERWOMAN! Ringing that bell, finishing chemo and on your way! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾,” he wrote. “You continue to fight with a smile on your face, strength, and determination. I am one proud Dad! Love you, Bella ❤️❤️”

Isabella has since returned to school at the University of Southern California.
