Jason Kelce and Stevie Nicks Team Up for Holiday Duet 'Maybe This Christmas': Listen

After weeks ofteasing the collaboration, the pair released a cover of Ron Sexsmith’s “Maybe This Christmas” on Friday, Nov. 8. The festive song will feature on Jason’s annual Philadelphia-themed holiday album,A Philly Special Christmas Party.

Nicks' lyrics include, “Maybe forgiveness will ask us to call / Someone we love, someone we’ve lost / For reasons we can’t quite recall.”

“Maybe there’ll be an open door / Maybe the star that shone before / Will shine once more,” the pair sing together.

The song’s release comes after Jason raved aboutworking with the Fleetwood Mac iconwhile speaking on the Oct. 30 episode of theNew Heights with Jason and Travis Kelcepodcast.

“Which in itself is, like, pretty crazy to actually be on a track with Stevie Nicks. I mean, absolutely unreal,” theretired Philadelphia Eagles playercontinued.

“[She’s] probably the most legendary female singer, especially of her generation … [and so] the fact that I’m singing with her this legend, is pretty unreal,” Jason added.

The athlete also called Nicks “one of the nicest people I’ve ever talked to” with an “absolutely beautiful personality.”

TheNew Heightspodcast first teased a possible duet in an Oct. 2Instagrampost, sharing a photo of Jason and Nicks seemingly in a recording studio.

“The crossover we didn’t know we needed,” the caption read. “Coming soon to a Christmas album near you 👀🎄”

The collaboration between Jason and Nicks isn’t a complete coincidence as the “Edge of Seventeen” hitmaker’s friendship withTaylor Swift— who’s dating Travis — goes way back.

Jason is set to release his third annual Christmas album,A Philly Special Christmas Party, with his former teammates Jordan Mailata and Lane Johnson on Nov. 22, with all proceeds going to Philadelphia-based charities.
