Jason Oppenheim's Ex Marie-Lou Nurk Is Engaged to French Businessman Ronan Lebraut: 'Always You!'

The 27-year-old model, who appeared onSelling Sunsetalongside exJason Oppenheim, is engaged to French businessman Ronan Lebraut. Nurk announced the happy news onTikTokandInstagram, sharing a video of her fiancé’s surprise beach proposal.

She wrote over the TikTok clip, “POV [point of view]. Your boyfriend wakes you from your nap and tells you to dress all in white.” Footage shows the couple riding in a small boat to a secluded beach, where Lebraut had set up a romantic scene with white candles and flower flower arrangements in the sand.

When night fell, Nurk, Lebraut and their guests lit floating lanterns and released them into the sky. The video ends with the couple hugging as everyone cheered loudly. Nurk captioned the TikTok video simply, “Always you!”

Lebraut replied to his new fiancée’s post, “Love of my life!”

Nurk debuted her romance with Lebraut — who is the president ofLBO Club, a forum dedicated to managers and owners involved in a leveraged buyout — onInstagramin August 2023. At the time, she posted a series of photos of the pair walking hand-in-hand as they explored the sights of Saint Tropez, France, together.

In the final slide of the carousel, Nurk included a screenshot of a text message which read, “You’re my favorite secret.”

The pair confirmed their split in May 2023 after 10 months of dating. In a post on his Instagram Stories, Oppenheim wrote, “While we still love and care about each other very much, the distance between us has proven to be too great a challenge to overcome.”

“We remain close friends and continue to talk often and support each other and we want the very best for one another,” he continued. “We thank everyone for their support throughout our relationship.”

One month later, in June 2023, the Netflix reality star and luxury real estate broker told PEOPLE that he and Nurk were still close despite going their separate ways.

“This has been a transition, you know, obviously difficult,” Oppenheim said of their split at the time. “But Lou and I remain really close and we talk almost every day — we at least either text or talk.”

Oppenheim blamed long distance for the challenges in their relationship — he is based in Los Angeles, while she lives primarily in Paris — but said that there are no hard feelings between the pair.
