Jay Lenois on the mend!
While hosting theinaugural amfAR Las Vegas benefit eventon Friday, Nov. 22, the comedian, 74, said he’s doing well after recentlyfalling down a hill in Pennsylvaniaand badly bruising his face and body and breaking his wrist.
“I’m feeling good,” Leno told red carpet reporters, adding, “I’ve got a broken wrist, but I’m all right.”
The formerTonight Showhost appeared tocover his facial bruises with makeupat the Wynn Las Vegas event, which honoredSylvester Stalloneand his wife,Jennifer Flavin Stallone.

“To get to [the restaurant], I didn’t have a car, so you had to walk about a mile and a half around. I said, ‘Well, the hill doesn’t look that steep. It’s about 60-70 feet. Let me see if I can go down the hill,’ I fell down,” he told the outlet.

“Boom, boom, boom. I rolled down the hill, hit my head on a rock, knocked me in the eye,” Leno added of the incident.
The star had a show atthe Palace Theatre in Greenhouse, Penn., on Friday, Nov. 15. He later performed atthe Yaamava’ Theater in Highland, Calif., on Saturday, Nov. 16.
While hosting the event in Las Vegas, Leno made no mention of his appearance or the fall, instead sticking to the script and trying to raise money for AIDS research.
Mingling with the crowd — which consisted of high spenders and celebrities, includingMichael Fassbender,Jodie Turner-Smith,Tommy Hilfigerand more — Leno helped to auction cars and even sold tours of his famous car garage for $75,000 to two different bidders.“I get to go there free,” he teased.
Elsewhere, the Stallones were honored with amfAR’s Award of Inspiration in “recognition of their generous support of amfAR’s lifesaving work, in addition to numerous other causes related to health, education, and women’s rights,” according to apress release.
