Jenna Dewan Is ‘Ready to Move On’ After Finalizing Channing Tatum Divorce: It Was a 'Frustrating Situation' (Source)

Jenna Dewanis looking ahead now that herher divorcefromChanning Tatumhas been finalized.

“Jenna is pleased and relieved that the divorce is final,” a source tells PEOPLE one day after Dewan, 43, and Tatum, 44, reached a settlement to finalize their divorce six years after their breakup. “It was a drawn out and sometimes frustrating situation.”

“She will continue to co-parent with Channing, but she’s ready to move on from everything else,” the source adds of Dewan, who shares daughter,Everly, 10, with Tatum. “She just wants to focus on her daughter and her boys.”

On Thursday, Sept. 26, Dewan was seen walking in Los Angeles, carrying a large black bag over her shoulder while wearing a white t-shirt, light blue jeans and black sneakers. Photographs of the dancer and actress mark the first time she has been seen since she finalized her divorce.

Tatum and Dewan, who originally met on the set ofStep Upin 2006, originallyseparated in 2018after nearly nine years of marriage. Dewanfiled for divorcefrom the21 Jump Streetactor in October 2018.

Tatum and Dewan were engaged in 2008, two years after they first began dating, and the former couple gotmarriedin Malibu in 2008.
