Jennifer Garner Holds Hands with Her Mom and Sister in Sweet Photo 7 Months After Father’s Death

Jennifer Garneris spending quality time with her family following her father’s death earlier this year.

On Sunday, Nov. 10, the actress, 52, posted a photo onInstagramof her holding hands with her mom, Patricia Garner, and sister, Melissa Lynn Garner, while going out for a stroll in her home state of West Virginia. The touching photo comes seven months after the death of Jennifer’s father,William John Garner.

“West Virginia — you know how to autumn. 🍁💙💛🍂,” she wrote in the caption while sharing more photos and footage from her trip.

“We were with him, singing Amazing Grace as he left us … ” wrote Jennifer. “While there is no tragedy in the death of an 85-year-old man who lived a healthy, wonderful life, I know grief is unavoidable, waiting around unexpected corners,” adding, “Today is for gratitude.”

Alongside her message, the actress shared photos of her as a child with her dad and a couple of family snaps of her with her parents and two sisters Melissa and Susannah.

“There is so much to say about my dad— my sisters and I will never be done talking about how wonderful he was … today I share these memories with my appreciation for the kind and brilliant man, father, and grandfather he was, as well as the loving legacy he left behind," Jennifer concluded.
