While I will not be on a television set any time soon, I will, in fact, be in an outfit just likeJennifer Hudson’s.
While doing a scroll through Instagram, I spotted theDreamgirlsactress wearing the most cozy combination of clothing I’d seen this season. She paired a fuzzy bomber jacket with some even fuzzier slip-on sandals. But best of all was her plush-looking sweater pants.
Since then, I’ve been literally dreaming about how they look so stylish, and they would surely feel so comfortable while I work from home or take an afternoon snooze. Plus,Jennifer Lopezstepped out in a similar style last April, (aka during another cold period) and Jennifer Anistonwore sweater pantsduring the 2022 holiday season.
Sweater pants are warm enough for fall and winter, but are way less rigid than a pair of trousers or jeans. Because of that, they’re higher up in terms of comfort and, oftentimes, might also be considered dressier.
As for bomber jackets,Katie Holmes and Sarah Jessica Parkerhave worn similar sporty toppers. Fuzzy sandals are also “in,”according to Sandra Bullock, who accessorized with a pair over the summer.

The pilling on the pair I’ve had for a few seasons has officially gotten out of control, so I’m in need of an upgrade. I previously thought I wouldn’t wear too much gray, but I realized how versatile the color is, so I’m sticking with this Gap option that looks similar to Hudson’s. They are made with yarn that’s “cashmere soft,” per the brand, and they have a ribbed texture that helps camouflage the lines of undergarments."
I also purchased the matching top with my old set, and it was one of the best decisions I could have made. Luckily, this pair coordinates perfectly withthis crewneck, which is also on sale, so I’ll be getting that, too.

While a blazer has a certain sophisticated spice, a bomber makes an outfit sporty and nice. Though this one has a furry chevron pattern, it still bunches in at the bottom rather than lie perfectly flat and polished. But for something that won’t immediately suck up water and I can wear on both good or bad weather days, I’d lean toward thisAmazon bestsellerwhich “can stand a light rain,”according to one shopper.

It might eventually get too cold to wear sandals outside, and even if they’re furry ones. But inside? I can’t help myself. They don’t make my feet feel tight and wrapped up the way socks do and they’re like a luxurious little treat to step into right before bed. Also, “the fit, sole pattern, cork foot bed and lining are just like” a pricier pairone shopper has been wearingfor 30 years.
