It’s not that I hatesummer dresses or tank tops, it’s just that I’malwayshungry to be wrapped up in layers upon layers like menswear-inspired blazers, posh trench coats, and button-ups like this one. They’re cool enough to wear in the heat —I just recently traveled in one— but I don’t excessively sweat in them when I’ve got a leather jacket or big puffer on.

Also, you know when you take off your warm jacket after being out in the cold, and you get a little chill? Yeah, I hate that feeling. Button-ups, though, are a nice little blanket of protection.
