Jennifer Lopezwas photographed publicly for the first time since filing for divorce from her now-estranged husband,Ben Affleck.

On Friday, Aug. 30, Lopez, 55, was snapped stepping out of her car as she arrived at an event in Beverly Hills, Calif.

TheThis Is Me… Nowsinger was dressed stylishly yet casually, sporting a white cutout halter top, wide-leg denim pants, pink-tinted sunglasses and chunky high heels. She accessorized her summer look with a crocodile handbag and lots of jewelry, including rings and gold and silver bracelets.

Lopez’s public outing comes 10 days after shefiled for divorcefrom Affleck, 52, on Aug. 20 after two years of marriage. In her filing, Lopez cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split, and indicated that she did not want either half of the former couple to be awarded spousal support.

Last week,Lopez made her first post on social mediasince the divorce filing, when she reshared a festive selfie image from a fan page on her Instagram Stories on Friday, Aug. 23.

In the snap, Lopez posed for a glamorous photo while rocking voluminous blonde hair and a blush two-piece look, with a large Christmas tree in the background.

Lopez and Afflecktied the knotin Las Vegas on July 17, 2022, nearly two decades after they were previously engaged in the early 2000s before calling it quits days before their wedding. In August 2022, they alsohosted a lavish wedding ceremony in Savannah, Ga., to celebrate their Las Vegas nuptials.

Two years later, Lopez filed for divorce on the second anniversary of her and Affleck’sSouthern weddingafterspending much of the summer apart. The former coupledid not have a prenuptial agreement.

Last week, on Thursday, Aug. 22,a source told PEOPLEthat the pairhad good intentionswhen rekindling their romance, stating that Lopez and Affleck “really loved each other — and it happened quickly.”

“They were really going to give it a try, and they did,” the source said, speaking about the now-exes' decision to get back together after so many years apart. “These are two people who are in love with love, and who wouldn’t jump into that? And the world wanted it.”

Another source told PEOPLEjust hours after the singer filed for divorce that Lopez “was done waiting.”

“She tried really hard to make things work and is heartbroken,” the source added. “The kids are a top priority, as they always have been.”
