Not long after herFantastic FourcastmateChris Evansreprised his role ofJohnny Storm/The Human Torchfor asurprise cameoin the recently releasedDeadpool & Wolverine, the actress, 43, says she would be open to reprising her role of Sue Storm/The Invisible Woman.
“Yeah, of course. I loved playing that character,” Alba — who recently helpedInstagramlaunch its newTeen Accountsfeature — tells PEOPLE exclusively of her role in 2005’sFantastic Fourand 2007’sFantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer.
“[I’d be open to] anything in the Marvel universe. I’m a fan of all the superhero stories, and it was a great time in my life,” she adds. “So yeah, if they would have me, sure.”

Now, with theFantastic Fourcharacters a part of the MCU after Disney’s acquisition of Fox Studios, Marvel plans to release a new take on the superhero foursome inThe Fantastic Four: First Steps, which is due to hit theaters in 2025.

InDeadpool & Wolverine, Evans reprises his role of The Human Torch from the mid-2000s superhero films — and also has ahilarious post-credits scene.
The actortold PEOPLEin August that he had zero hesitation when he was asked to do asurprise cameoin the Marvel feature.
“It was a couple years ago and I got a text fromRyan [Reynolds], we’re buddies,” Evans explained. “He just said, ‘Listen, if you don’t like this idea, no worries whatsoever. But I have something that could really bring the house down and would let you play a character from your past.’ "
Despite the fanfare surrounding the appearance, Alba tells PEOPLE that she hasn’t tuned in to see Evans portray her superhero sibling onscreen. “Oh, I haven’t seen it yet,” she tells PEOPLE. “But that’s so fun.”
