Jessica Szohr and Former NHL Player Brad Richardson Get Married in Scenic Wedding

Jessica Szohrand her beau have said “I do!”

“It was the most magical, beautiful day, filled with the people we love the most,” Szohr toldThe Knot, which had an exclusive on event.

She also told the outlet that while she and Richardson, 39, had considered exchanging nuptials in Italy, Flagstaff had “given us so many memories as a family over the last couple of years.” She explained, “It’s such a vibe up there, in the mountains. I wanted to tie that in with this magnificent, fancy and chic dress, but I still wanted the flowers to have a bohemian look. It was like pieces of a puzzle coming together.”

“My grandpa was such a huge part of my childhood, and he always said that to us,” she toldThe Knot. “My life was so fast withGossip Girl, but he would always say, ‘Just make sure you’re taking time to smell the roses.’ That stuck with me.”

Several CW stars attended the soirée includingNina Dobrev, who served as her Maid of Honor and donned the Galia LahavElisedress in custom sage green.Chace Crawford, who also starred inGossip Girl,was also present for the ceremony.

Szohr and Richardson went Instagram-official in 2019 and welcomed their first child together, daughterBowie Ella Richardson, almost two years later on Jan. 11, 2021.

He first appeared on Szohr’s Instagram grid in April of that year when the actressshared a photoof the duo wearing cowboy hats at the Stagecoach Music Festival, captioning the photo: “This is 🇺🇸 :) ❤️🤠💙 #stagecoaching.”

Later that year, she wrote, “I love him! 🐊 🧩❤️,” alongside apicture of the twobeing affectionate.

The couple joyfullyannounced their engagementin May 2022 with a black-and-white image on Instagram with the her diamond ring on full display.

“I said yes!” wrote Szohr in the caption, with friends like Crawford writing “Love you guys” in the comment section, and actressClaire Holtextending her well wishes for the couple writing “Awwww congrats!!!! 😍😍😍.”

Just days before he popped the question, Richardson — who played his final season with the NHL in 2022 — posted a sweet tribute to Szohr in honor of Mother’s Day.

“Happy Mother’s Day to an amazing mom and person,” he wrote in a May 8Instagrampost alongside a carousel of images of Szohr with their daughter and with Richardson’s older daughter, Lexi, with ex-wife Lauren Hunt. “We love you!”

Szohrfirst announced their pregnancywith a September 2020 post on Instagram expressing that she was “Full of joy!” with a black-and-white snapshot of the two embracing as Richardson smiles while he peers down at her belly. She shared the same photo on her Instagram Story, adding “Surprise!”
